A SSAS is a serious, long-term business planning tool — not a decision to make quickly, or in isolation. Before any scheme is established, it deserves full and careful consideration of the options available.
That's why RC Advisors only takes on new SSAS establishments through an introduction from your accountant. In almost every case, your accountant is better placed than anyone else to start that conversation — they already hold a holistic view of your business, your tax position, and your wider business and personal aspirations, so a SSAS gets considered alongside everything else that matters, not in isolation.
It's a deliberate safeguard, not a barrier to getting started.
